Dr. Strider A. McCash, DDS
A New Mexico native, Dr. McCash grew up in the Albuquerque area. He
received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of
New Mexico. Subsequently, he attended Creighton University, in Nebraska, where
he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He graduated in
the top third of his class, as well as scoring in the top third of all three,
national dental board exams. While he was in Nebraska, Dr. McCash was a
resident dentist at two practices, was an instructor of Crown & Bridge at the
Creighton Dental School, and was an on-call dentist for Emergency Dental. Dr.
McCash has over 13 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry. In
his commitment to his patients, Dr. McCash remains in the forefront of dentistry
through continuing education, skillful techniques, and advanced technology. When
Dr. McCash is not practicing dentistry, one can find him spending
time with the three lights of his life: his gorgeous wife Daniela, and his two
children, Durin and Bree. His love of the outdoors includes whitewater
kayaking, mountain biking, downhill skiing, mountain biking, mountaineering,

In 2009, Daniela joined
the AFFD team as the Office Manager and Dr. McCash’s personal assistant. She is a graduate of the Metropolitan State
College of Denver, where she earned a B. A. degree in Behavioral Science with
an emphasis in Criminology, and a B. S. degree
in Computer Information Systems. Love, romanticism, and the magnificent
outdoors inspired Daniela to move to Angel Fire in 2008 from Grand Junction,
Colorado. When she’s not at the office motivating her team, one can find her in
the great outdoors, trail running, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking with her
extraordinarily handsome new husband Strider and her dog, Loki. Daniela and Strider also spend their time
exploring the world together, and uncovering the wondrous mysteries of life and

the AFFD team, in 2013, as the lead Registered Dental Hygienist. She is
certified in CPR/BLS and local anesthesia. She continues to expand her
knowledge base, skills, and techniques by attending continuing education
courses. Meredith was born and raised in Ryegate, Vermont. She attended
the University of Vermont (Burlington, VT), where she received her Associates
degree in Dental Hygiene ,in 2001. After a year of
clinical practice, she and her husband moved to Albuquerque and fell
in love with the Southwest. Meredith practiced for two years before
moving back to Vermont in 2004. She received her bachelor’s degree in
Dental Hygiene, from Vermont Technical College (Williston,VT), in 2012.
Meredith and her family enjoy the outdoors, hiking, skiing, biking, and
soccer. They believe in being an integral part of their community by
participating in their children’s school and their local environment.
Kathy - Dental Hygienist
Kathy has resided in Angel Fire, New Mexico now for approximately 20 years. She's a 2005 graduate from San Juan College. She is Laser-certified for non-surgical periodontal treatment, and licensed for local anesthesia. Her goal is to provide the best oral care possible through personalized treatment plans. Kathy is very excited about the upcoming experiences with new clients and providing her local community with the upmost dental care. Kathy comes with a new outlook in dentistry and understanding of patient's needs for dental hygiene. She lives with her husband Jason and three active young children. Kathy and her family enjoy the all types of recreational and outdoor activities including camping, fishing, boating, and rock crawling.
Loki – Office Therapist
Loki was born in 2005, on Thanksgiving Day, in Grand Junction, Colorado,
to a Black Labrador father and an Australian Shepherd mother. His parents weren’t the best caretakers, so
we rescued him and brought him home.
When he was two, he moved down to Angel Fire with his mom, Daniela, and
his new stepdad, Strider. His interests
are mountain biking, hiking, camping, being petted and chasing anything with a
tail. He will swim and play fetch
(sometimes at the same time) till he passes out. He’s a great protector and the best friend a
person could ever ask for. He’s the
four-legged love of our lives.
